Not all animals get their own books...
until now!

We love animals, and you should too! We want to introduce young readers to some fascinating animals around the world that not a lot of people are familiar with.

Our books feature the 2-toed and 3-toed sloths, the Lincoln Longwool sheep, the Soay sheep, and many more to come. Our stories combine adventure, humor, and some real animal facts to encourage kids to look a little closer at the world around us.

How It All Started

An artist and a writer met on the edge of an active volcano. They were both trying to get a picture of a vampire ground finch, which is in fact a real bird and not something we made up for this story. Anyway, the ground finch scuttled away and a beautiful friendship was born.

…actually, Sam the artist and Suz the author met on a Zoom call when a shared client assigned them a new project: Write and illustrate a children’s book. Sam, a teacher-turned-illustrator, and Suz, an overcaffeinated writer, got to work.

Anyway, after that a beautiful friendship was born. Years and cocktails passed, and eventually, the dynamic duo thought, “What if we wrote our own books?”

And thus the adventure began…
